    • Tennessee Department of Human Services Office in Shelby County Temporarily Closed on South Third Street

      Wednesday, May 04, 2016| 10:19pm

      The DHS South Third Street location is temporarily closed due to an external event that caused a power outage resulting in needed repairs. The temporary closure is due to necessary repairs after an external event earlier today caused a power surge in the building resulting in a power outage. The TDHS in partnership with the Department of General Services (DGS) and in consultation with the Memphis Light, Gas, and Water Department (MLGW) determined that the temporary office closure was necessary to complete the repairs. The other Shelby County Department of Human Services’ Family Assistance office located at 3230 Jackson Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee will continue to be open for services.

    • I-65 over Trinity Lane Bridge Repair Project Continues this Weekend

      Wednesday, May 04, 2016| 3:24pm

      Tennessee Department of Transportation contract crews will continue work this weekend on a project to repair the I-65 bridges that cross over Trinity Lane north of downtown Nashville.  The project will have significant impacts to other area interstates including I-24 and I-40 on the east side of Nashville.
