CoverKids

CoverKids provides health coverage for eligible children ages 18 and younger or pregnant women who are eligible. Low co-pays are included for sick visits and medication. Well-child visits and vaccinations are free.

CoverKids pays for health services like:

• Doctors visits
• Hospital visits
• Vaccinations
• Well-child visits
• Developmental screenings
• Mental health care
• Vision and dental care for children
• Prenatal care for pregnant women

There are different ways to apply for coverage in CoverKids for women who are pregnant or children who are not pregnant.

• Create an account at tenncareconnect.tn.gov and apply online.
• Call TennCare Connect for free at 855-259-0701 to apply over the phone.
• Send your paper application to TennCare.
