Server Training

A trainer is an individual designated by a certified training program, and approved and certified by the commission to instruct an alcohol awareness program.

Certification is valid for one (1) year only to renew annually.

Requirements

  • You must complete the application process and forms prescribed by the commission to become a trainer

New Application Process
  • Call the different programs available to teach the "train a trainer" class
    • Each has different prices they charge for the program
    • Each has different prices they charge for the materials you will be required to purchase to give the classes
  • Take a "train a trainer" class with a certified program and receive your certificate of completion from the course
  • Fill out and have notarized the application
  • Fill out a declaration of citizenship
  • Pay the application fee
  • You can begin teaching alcohol awareness classes for other trainers the date we receive the application correct and the payment in full
  • You may send in your first class schedule on that day
    • Classes must be scheduled at least seven (7) days in advance
