Tennessee Natural Beef Program LogoThis program is designed to help producers meet the consumer demand for finding local beef products produced following a strict set of criteria for animal production. Today's consumers are very interested in knowing their farmer, where the farmer is from, and the farmer's production practices on the farm. Tennessee's farmers are working to meet this need. The importance of good communication between farmers, and consumers cannot be overstated.

In the Tennessee Natural Beef Program, all participating beef producers must follow strict regulations that address the animals' diet, growth, health, handling and harvest practices. In addition, beef products in the Tennessee Natural Beef Program are only from animals born and raised in the Volunteer State.
