Tennessee Arts Commission Gallery

Current Gallery Exhibit

Graphic Design is public art, ubiquitous; it informs, entertains and educates us daily—and by design—makes life easier to navigate. Designers manipulate their audiences with integrity of purpose, materials and wit. A collision of good typographic craft paired with original imagery to convey a clear message in a wide variety of media. These particular designers, art directors and illustrators are a perfect reflection of the award-winning graphic design program at Watkins College of Art, Design & Film. Their work is intelligent, useful and visually compelling, constructing and connecting art and ideas for people.
