TENNESSEE ARTS COMMISSION ANNOUNCES DATE FOR QUARTERLY MEETING
NASHVILLE - - The Tennessee Arts Commission will hold its next quarterly meeting in Nashville at the Commission's office, located at 401 Charlotte Avenue . The meeting will be held Thursday, December 7 at 1:30 p.m. (CST).
According to Stephanie Barger Conner, chair of the Commission, the meeting agenda will include reports on the Value Plus Schools Program, Advocacy and Legislative Activity, Peer Advisory Panels, Governor's Awards in the Arts, and Tennessee State Museum . Reports will also be provided on the recent Cultural Crossroads and Arts Talk conferences. An Interboard Committee will provide a report on underserved counties, and the consent agenda will include a review of Commission's governance policy.
The Commission's quarterly meetings are open to the public.
The Tennessee Arts Commission is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to ensure the citizens of Tennessee have access to and participate in the arts.
