TENNESSEE ARTS COMMISSION REMINDS APPLICANTS OF JANUARY GRANT DEADLINES

NASHVILLE - - Deadlines for several Tennessee Arts Commission grants are rapidly approaching. As was the case during last year’s grant cycle, applicants are again submitting grants electronically through the Commission’s eGRANT system. Hard copies of the application must be postmarked or received in the Commission office by 4:30 p.m. (CST) on the specified deadline. The Commission office is located at 401 Charlotte Avenue in Nashville.

January 16, 2007 – Arts Education
Artist-in-Residence

Teacher Training

January 22, 2007 – General Grant Categories
Arts Access (formerly Arts Advancement and Expansion)
Arts Project Support
Rural Arts Project Support
General Operating Support

January 29, 2007 – Individual Artist Fellowship
Craft
Dance (performance)
Literary (fiction or creative nonfiction)
Media (film or video)
Music (vocal performance)
Thearter (acting or directing)
Visual Art (two-dimensional work)
