Tennessee Arts Commission Announces Date For Quarterly Meeting
NASHVILLE - - The Tennessee Arts Commission will hold its next quarterly meeting in Nashville on Wednesday, April 15 at 11 a.m. (CT). The meeting will be held at the Commission office, located at 410 Charlotte Avenue.
According to Donna Chase, chair of the Commission, the agenda will include reports on the 2009 Governor’s Arts Awards, Arts Advocacy Day on the Hill, the Commission Office Renovation Project, and a report from the Tennessee State Museum. Updates will be provided on legislative activities and the Public Awareness Campaign. In addition, a report will be presented on a future conference, “Surviving in Tough Times" which will be held in October. The consent agenda will include an update on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act – Investing in Tennessee.
The Commission’s quarterly meetings are open to the public.
The Tennessee Arts Commission is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences that add value to the lives of every citizen, and enhances the quality of life in Tennessee communities.
