Virginia Davidson retired in 2007 as Mayor of Kenton, TN after serving two terms. Priorto being Mayor, Mrs. Davidson was a 29 year employee of the City of Kenton. She is involved with many community activities, including Church clerk, a member of the Kenton Booster Club, Gibson County Railroad Authority, Kenton Women’s Club, White Squirrel Committee since 1985, Secretary of Sunnyside Cemetery Association, Advisory Board WLJT-TV (Public Broadcasting), Northwest Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability Advisory Council Member, and Northwest Tennessee Headstart Advisory Council Member.

Mrs. Davidson has served on the Area Agency on Aging and Disability Advisory Council for several years, therefore, she understands the needs and programs available to assist the elderly and disabled.

Mrs. Davidson is a well-respected and active member of her community. She holds a license as a Certified Recorder (MTA) and she is a 2005 Graduate of the West Star Leadership Program. Mrs. Davidson is the wife of Bruce Davidson and has two children, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and resides in Kenton, TN.
