| Course Description |
This four-week program is designed to take the student from the Firefighter I level to the advanced
level of Firefighter II. This program meets or exceeds the NFPA 1001: Firefighter Professional
Qualifications. The students will participate in classroom instruction, incident report writing,
flammable liquid live fires, fire ground command, evidence preservation, vehicle extrication, preincident
survey, equipment maintenance, fire hose test and fire hydrant testing. During the last week
of this course, eligible students meeting commission requirements may take the Tennessee
Commission on Firefighting Personnel and Standard Education certification exam for Firefighter II. |

Certification as Firefighter I OR have completed the
following: Recruit Firefighter I – F100 OR Basic Firefighting – FF100 AND Live Firefighting – F110 OR Basic/Live Firefighting – F102
