    "NOTICE: All Courses Require Pre-Registration


  • NEW>> Event Announcement:
    • Tuition changes for Fire Program students to take effect January 1, 2010. Fire Program tuition increase explanation
    • Introduction to 2009 International Residential Code (CR102) is scheduled for for multiple locations across the State. This new 14 hour class is tuition free thanks to a grant from the TN State Fire Marshal's office.
    • Fire Officer III - The first open enrollment class is scheduled to begin Dec. 1, 2009 and end March 3, 2010. This 60 hour class meets two days each month at TFACA. Fire Officer III Syllabus
    • Health & Safety Officer (Revised) - Direct delivery by NFA. Deadline for registration is 12/18/09. Health & Safety Officer
    • Enhanced Grant Writing Classes - New free classes target AFG applicants which have been unsuccessful in previous attempts. Classes to be scheduled for delivery on campus and at region events. More details and schedule available soon. Funding provided by grant from North American Fire Training Directors (NAFTD) and DHS. Grant period ends 6/30/10. These classes are also available on-line through State training partner Illinois Fire Service Institute. IFSI will provide TFACA your information upon your completion of the course.   • Fire Chief Orientation Classes for 2010 are being scheduled. Chiefs needing this required training should pre-register for a class near you.
