Heather Adler was arrested for violation of TCA 39-16-201 Introduction of Illegal Drugs. In February of 2013, Ms. Adler mailed illegal drugs to the Northwest Correctional Complex. After a full investigation, Ms. Adler was located in Knoxville. After obtaining a warrant for her arrest, she was taken into custody outside her residence without incident.

Morgan County Correctional Complex visitor Neelie Freeman was arrested by the Morgan County Sheriff's Department and charged with possession of schedule II drugs and possession of schedule IV drugs (various narcotic pills.)

Morgan County Correctional Complex visitor Jenny Allison was arrested by the Morgan County Sheriff's Department and charged with possession of schedule II drugs and possession of schedule IV drugs (various narcotic pills.)

West Tennessee State Penitentiary Food Service Steward Barbara Miller was arrested by the TDOC Office of Investigations and Compliance and charged with introduction of contraband into a penal facility, schedule II: possession with intent to sell or deliver and schedule VI: possession with intent to sell or deliver (marijuana and cocaine.)

Northeast Correctional Complex visitor April Tate was arrested by the Johnson County Sheriff's Department and charged with driving on a revoked license (4th offense) and possession of drug paraphernelia (2 used syringes and 1 small piece of suboxone strip.)

Turney Center Industrial Complex visitor Jarad Fowler was arrested by the Clifton Police Department and charged with possession of a deadly weapon with the intent to go armed and violation of open container law (1 .32 caliber semi-automatic pistol, 2 loaded magazines, 100 rounds of ammunition, a half bottle of vodka and a half bottle of bourbon.)

A TDOC investigation led to the arrest of Donald Kohut. Donald Kohut was arrested by the New Jersey State Police and indicted on one count of bribery and one count of conspiracy to commit escape. Justin Heflin, a former correctional officer at the Tennessee Prison for Women, was indicted for one count of bribery, one count of offical misconduct, one count of conspiracy to commit escape and one count of facilitation to commit escape for his involvement in the escape attempt.

Hardeman County Correctional Facility visitor Cynthia Marshall was arrested by the Whiteville Police Department and charged with introduction of contraband into a penal facility (114 grams of marijuana, 14.5 grams of tobacco.)

Whiteville Correctional Facility visitor Annie Joe Radley and Courtney Radley were arrested by the Whiteville Police Department. Annie Joe Radley was charged with introduction of contraband into a penal facility and possession of schedule VI and Schedule II narcotics with intent to distribute (20.7 grams of crack cocaine, 10 grams of marijuana, and 2.1 grams of cocaine.) Courtney Radley was charged with conspiracy to violate state law.

Morgan County Correctional Complex visitor Kreshuna Brooks was arrested by the Morgan County Sheriff's Department and charged with introduction of contraband into a penal facility (20.7 grams of crack cocaine, 10 grams marijuana, 2.1 grams of cocaine.)

West Tennessee State Penitentiary visitor Dorothy Lesuer was arrested by the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department and charged with possession of schedule VI drugs with intent to deliver and introduction of contraband into a penal facility. Ms. Lesuer was seen on camera passing one ounce of marijuana to an inmate.

Whiteville Correctional Facility visitor Virginia Kruithoff was arrested by the Whiteville Police Department and charged with conspiracy to violate state law. In her vehicle, she had prescription pills (30 morphine pills, 42 oxocodyne pills), black electrical tape, and a note from the inmate instructing her what to bring in and how.

Northwest Correctional Complex visitor Branca Larkin was arrested by the Lake County Sheriff's Department and charged with introduction of contraband into a penal facility (package containing 6 morphine pills, 76 xanax, 1.8 grams meth, 5 zofran and a small bottle of liquid morphine.)

Whiteville Correctional Facility visitor Cynthia Parson was arrested by the Whiteville Police Department and was charged with introduction of contraband into a penal facility (.68 ounces tobacco, .043 ounces cocaine, .0104 ounces methamphetamine and .948 ounces marijuana.)

Whiteville Correctional Facility visitor Jennifer Jackson was arrested by the Whiteville Police Department and charged with introduction of contraband into a penal facility (20 morphine pills (schedule 2 narcotics).)

Staff at the Whiteville Correctional Facility observed a family member pass pills to an inmate during visitation. The pills were checked and found to be oxycodone hydrochloride. The family member, Sherri England, was arrested by the Whiteville Police Department and charged with introduction of drugs into a penal facility.
