Greetings,We welcome you to the Volunteer Services web page. I'm excited about the opportunity to get to tell you about volunteering with the Tennessee Department of Correction. In the volunteer state, there are over 4,000 volunteers that give their time in Tennessee prisons.
We offer programs in the following areas:

- Volunteer Appreciation Banquet (at each site) - TBA
- Mentoring Training - several times during the year
- Angel Tree - TBA
- Christmas packages for offenders - Christmas
- Tennessee Community Resource Board - check out the website
- Local Community Resource Board Meetings - ask the chaplain
I hope you will make it a priority this year to attend the Faith in Corrections conference. Visit the Faith in Corrections web site to find a date and location near you.
We always welcome new volunteers to our department. Some new volunteer opportunities that will be available in the coming year are:
