Executive Director, Juvenile Justice
Jacqueline Lee Moore, Executive Director in the Office of Juvenile Justice, provides leadership for the Interstate Compact for Juveniles program in Tennessee, juvenile justice policy development, oversight of juvenile court prevention grants and state supplemental grants.
Ms. Moore has worked for the Department for more than 35 years. She began her career as an institutional case manager and worked her way up the ranks, serving in middle management for the DCS regions for 20 years before being promoted in 2001 to a Director in the Office of Juvenile Justice. She has used her expertise to monitor and interpret policy, as well as provide support to regional juvenile justice staff, quality assurance projects, accreditation efforts and staff development. She has served on numerous work groups and efforts related to improving practice in the juvenile justice arena. She assumed her current position in April 2014.
Ms. Moore holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Social Work from the Middle Tennessee Collaborative MSW Program at Tennessee State University. She is a licensed social worker.
