Chief Information Officer
Mr. Clements has worked for DCS since 2005. Before becoming the Chief Information Officer he served as the Manager of TFACTS Customer Care, where he managed 16 Field Customer Care Representatives across the state.
Mr. Clements began his career with DCS as an Executive Business Analyst where he led the effort to document requirements for TFACTS which led to the subsequent development of the Request for Proposal. He has continued to work with regional and leadership staff to address regional needs and served as liaison between the Office of Information Technology and DCS/TFACTS Training Staff.
Prior to joining DCS, Mr. Clements was employed by the State of Kentucky as a Business Analyst for TWIST Project, which is the State Automated Child Welfare Information System equivalent.
Mr. Clements has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Western Kentucky University. He studied Organizational Communications and Public Administration at the graduate level at Western Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky. He received training as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer from Sullivan University and Microsoft Solutions Framework training, a set of software engineering processes, principles and proven practices intended to enable success in the software development life cycle.
