APSE Regional Inaugural Institute

This two-day program is designed to help disability service provider’s transition to an integrated employment business model with the goal of serving their clients in competitive integrated employment. The Institute will address such topics as funding, supported employment, communicating change with clients and families, business strategic planning, staff development, legacy real estate planning, employer outreach, job development, informed choice, integrated employment and wrap-around services. Sessions and information provided will be geared towards all of those who are part of organizational transformation. The target audience includes: persons supported and their family members, Direct Service Professionals, mid to upper level management, CEO’s, CFO’s and Board members. The institute is from November 16 to November 18 and will be held at the MGM Grand in Detroit, Michigan.  A total of two (2) providers will be selected to receive the $2,000 award. The entire compensation award will need to be used to cover the expenses needed for two (2) staff members to attend the conference.
