DIDD is seeking to fill two Investigator positions. The positions are stationed in Jackson and Nashville, TN and report directly to the Director of Investigations for DIDD. Job responsibilities include conducting comprehensive investigations involving allegations of abuse, neglect and/or exploitation with regard to people with an intellectual or developmental disability.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field; professional experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, investigative experience in law enforcement or similar agency.

Skills: The ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner; possess excellent verbal and written skills; organize and prioritize assignments; work independently, have flexibility in the work schedule and displays professional conduct as a representative of the Department.

 Additional Responsibilities: A DIDD Investigator shall be responsible for participating in  a regular on-call schedule, comprehensive and professional report writing, interaction with other investigative agencies, attendance at regular departmental meetings/trainings and travel within the specified region.
