The State monitors all LEAs with Title I high priority schools for compliance with requirements for schools in improvement, corrective action, or restructuring using the Comprehensive Monitoring Instrument. LEAs found to be out of compliance with any of the requirements must submit for the State’s approval compliance action plans to remedy the deficiencies as a condition of the approval of their Consolidated Application for NCLB Funds. The State will monitor the completion of the compliance action plan requirements.
