Contributed Papers: Presentations should address current or recent research pertaining to archaeology in the state of Tennessee. Presentations will be accepted on a “first come, first serve” basis due to a limited number of slots, and must be limited to fifteen (15) minutes. Title and abstract should be sent to Mike Moore or Kevin Smith no later than January 13, 2018 for inclusion in the program.
Posters: Posters should address current or recent archaeological research in the state of Tennessee. Poster titles and abstracts should be sent no later than January 13, 2018. Additional information about poster displays will be sent in a later communication.
Tables: The availability of tables is unknown at this time, but we’ll confirm a bit later. However, the organizers do ask that individuals refrain from selling merchandise, wares, etc. during the event.
PowerPoint Presentations: A LCD projector and IBM-compatible laptop will be available for PowerPoint presentations. Requests to use the equipment must be submitted with the title and abstract. Presenters using the equipment must either provide the PowerPoint file prior to the meeting (via e-mail or CD) or plan to arrive by 7:30 am on Saturday with a CD or flash-drive containing the presentation to be loaded on the laptop. Presenters should be aware that special animation schemes vary by the version of PowerPoint and may not be compatible with the version provided.
LUNCH: Participants and attendees will be on their own during the Saturday lunch break. The Montgomery Bell State Park Inn does include “The Forge” restaurant that we encourage folks to enjoy.
