Brook Powell is an Environmental Specialist with the Office of Sustainable Practices. Her areas of focus are recycling, waste reduction, and reducing food waste at schools and other facilities. She is proficient in GIS and will assist with the food recovery mapping project. Brook’s prior experience and training includes groundwater tracing and GIS to map underground waterways and emergency environmental response. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences from Middle Tennessee State University.
