Camping

NEW – Montgomery Bell Campground Reservations are now available online.

Campgrounds provide both 30 and 50 amp. electric service and can accommodate 60 ft. campers on most electrical sites. Campground has on-site sewer to 40 sites and can accommodate pop-up campers to the largest RV's.

There are 2 pull-through campsites accessible to persons with a disability.

Some sites are available along the bank of the creek running beside the campground.

There are three bathhouses located in the campground. Two are accessible to persons with a disability. Picnic tables, trash cans, and grills are available at campsites.

Back country camping is allowed on the overnight trail with a back country camping permit. Tent camping is not allowed on the overnight trail. For more information on how to obtain this permit contact the park office at (615) 797-9052.

Group Camping

Group Camp One was built in the 1930's by the Civilian Conservation Corp and is considered an historic landmark. The buildings are constructed of Crab Orchard stone that was hand hewn and quarried in Tennessee.  The Camp is located in a rustic setting nestled above Lake Woodhaven. The 47 rustic cabins, which do not have air conditioning or heating, sleep 120 people.  The rustic cabins cannot be individually rented.  To use the cabins, the entire camp must be rented.

Campers should bring their own linen, paper products, cleaning supplies, food, ice; and charcoal or wood for fire. Provided in the kitchen are 2 ovens, 2 stoves, 2 sinks and refrigeration, freezer, a walk-in cooler/refrigerator and freezer. There are 4 bathhouses (2 showers in each), sinks, toilets, running water and hot water. On-premise catering is available.

Park Inn

The Inn, Conference Center and restaurant overlook the lovely Lake Acorn. Amenities include cable television, year-round indoor pool, outdoor pool (seasonal), exercise room and laundry facilities. The Inn has 120 rooms and 5 suites with every room having a view of the lake. Stay at the Park Inn and hold your event at our Conference Center.

Villas

The villas have 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and a full kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, full refrigerator, toaster and coffee maker. One bedroom has 2 queen beds and the master bedroom has a king size bed. The great room has a queen sofa sleeper. Both bedrooms and great room have a flat screen tv. Each has a large covered patio with an outdoor fireplace and gas grill. The indoor and outdoor (seasonal) swimming pools at the Inn are vailable to Inn and villa guests. The villas are rented year round with a 2 night minimum requirement, with the exception of selected holiday weekends which require a 3 night minimum.
