The Tennessee River rolls along almost 650 miles, passing through three states and draining parts of four others, before eventually emptying into the Ohio River at Paducah, Kentucky. The Lower Tennessee River Basin includes roughly 160 river miles in Tennessee, from where the river reenters Tennessee from northern Alabama at Pickwick Landing, to where it crosses into Kentucky at Land Between the Lakes.
