Fiscal 2010-2011State Budget 
Governor Phil Bredesen's budget proposal for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 was delivered to members of the 106th General Assembly on February 1, 2010. The $28.4 billion budget includes a multi-year plan for a balanced budget in each of the next three years. The spending plan for FY 2010-11 is $1.5 billion less than FY 2009-10.
Employee Wellness Screenings
Working Well health screenings are offered FREE, to all benefits eligible employees as part of your employee benefits package.
Examiners collect several body measurements: height, weight, (which will be used to calculate body mass), and resting blood pressure. They will also collect a finger stick blood sample that will be used to determine your cholesterol levels, triglycerides, glucose levels, as well as other factors that can lead to lifestyle related diseases. All information is kept confidential.
Monthly Revenue Estimates
Monthly distributions for fiscal year tax estimates, which are used to support the state’s annual budget. The state's methodology for projecting monthly tax collection estimates includes the services of the University of Tennessee’s Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) and researchers at the Tennessee Department of Revenue.

The Department of Finance and Administration makes recommendations for the state budget appropriation of federal funds through ARRA. F&A also distributes funding to support crime prevention and control, improve the criminal justice system at the local level and support victim assistance programs. In addition, the eHealth Initiative will provide guidance for health information technology incentive programs and grants.
