| Description |
This course is designed to provide students with the essential tools and skills to operate safely
in wildland/urban interface incidents. The course also provides a better understanding of
community issues that could impact a fire department’s operations and provide the ability to
identify strategies to reduce hazards. Course topics include: strategy development, overview of
emergency management plan, working with property owners, environmental issues, historic issues, and
cooperative leadership. |
