| Description | This course is designed to enable the student to recognize the indicators of an intentionally set fire,
preserve evidence, report the information to the appropriate office, know the role of a first responder,
and that the role is not to determine cause and origin of the fire. Major topics include fire behavior, critical observations of the first responder, fire cause, scene security and evidence preservation, legal consideration, and reporting of findings. |
