First Lady visits government students at Grundy County High School

3/17/2009

Tennessee First Lady Andrea Conte visited Grundy County High School on March 17 where she spoke to junior and senior year government students. The school began a new program last semester to offer students a new perspective on civics by featuring government officials. Ms. Conte talked to the students about state government and her three main initiatives: the establishment of a Child Advocacy Center in each judicial district, victims’ rights, and the restoration and preservation of the Tennessee Residence.
