Amendment or Withdrawal of Bids

A vendor may withdraw or amend a bid in writing prior to its opening. After bid opening, a vendor may withdraw a bid or a portion thereof only upon a written determination by the Chief Procurement Officer that there is an obvious error in the bid supported by appropriate vendor cost information and where the enforcement of the bid would impose an unconscionable hardship on the vendor.

If no error is made in a bid, but the enforcement of the bid would impose an unconscionable hardship on the vendor, the Chief Procurement Officer, with the approval of the Procurement Commission, may allow the vendor to withdraw the bid.
