The Chattanooga State Office building, a classic marble building in the heart of Chattanooga, was built in 1954. A west wing was added to the building in 1970 and renovations to the entire building were completed in 1992. The Facility Administrator for this complex has the responsibility of overseeing 38 facilities that cover 15 counties in the southeast corner of the state.
