Warehousing and Distribution provides quality, cost effective supply support, warehousing, and distribution services to departments and agencies of Tennessee State Government. Consolidated warehousing and centralized distribution for participating departments and agencies prevents duplicated efforts bringing about costs savings for the State of Tennessee. The Warehousing and Distribution operation stores and distributes approximately 800 printed and program related items from our 42,000 square foot facility, in support of more than 30 state agencies, boards, and program areas. These items are shipped across the state and utilized by state agencies, other governmental organizations, and the general public. Program-specific items are purchased by the participating organization; then received, stored, and distributed to the end users by our centralized facility. Through best-practice inventory management, a consistent and sufficient supply of inventory can be maintained efficiently and cost effectively. Generic forms, utilized by multiple participating organizations, are purchased by our facility and distributed as consumable inventory. Bulk mailing and kitting services are also provided for participating organizations when needed.
