On behalf of the Office of Governor Bill Haslam, we are pleased to invite applications from those interested in serving as an intern at the State Capitol in Nashville during our Summer 2014 Intern Program. Summer internships will begin in May and continue through August 2014. The deadline for applications is April 11, 2014.
The goal of this intern program is to provide college students with an enriching work experience that promotes both citizenship and scholarship. Interns are assigned to work directly with the senior and support staff of each individual department inside the Governor’s Office.
Specific duties might consist of utilizing effective writing skills, researching current issues, assisting with and attending events, as well as various administrative activities within the departments.
