POLICY STATEMENT |

The standard for completing applications
for Families First will be no later than 45 days from the date the AU or its
representative files the application. An opportunity to participate in the Families First Program consists
of providing eligible assistance units with a cash payment within 45 days
after the completed application is filed.
An opportunity to participate has been provided if the Families First
check is mailed prior to or on the 45th day after the application
is filed. A check is mailed the first
work day following the day the authorization is completed. |
