PROCEDURES |

The applicant/recipient should be given the
following information: ·
Furnishing a
Social Security number or applying for a number is a condition of
eligibility. ·
Failure to
furnish the number or apply for the number will result in ineligibility of
the individual. ·
The Social
Security number will be used in the administration of the Families First (as
well as Food Stamps and Medicaid) program. ·
The Social
Security number will be used to check other government records that may
impact Families First eligibility such as: -
IRS -
Wage records -
Unemployment
Compensation -
Social
Security -
SSI
benefits. |
