36.7	TIME LIMIT FOR PROVIDING NOTICE OF DENIAL	Food Stamp Table of Contents

1240-1-17-.07	Households that are found to be ineligible shall be sent a notice of denial as soon as possible but not later than 30 days following the date the application for Food Stamps was filed. Information obtained during the intake interview in some instances is sufficient for the intake caseworker to determine that the applicant is ineligible at intake and, therefore, the application can be denied at that point.
