    February 12, 2015

On December 31, 2014, the balance of the Tennessee Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund was between $750 million and $850 million. The fund balance on June 30 and December 31 of each year determines the premium rate table that is in effect for the subsequent six month period. The December 31, 2014 balance requires the use of Premium Rate Table 5 for the period of January 1, 2015 to June 30, 2015. In January, notices were mailed to all employers whose premium rate changed. Employers who are not eligible for a premium rate based on their own experience are not affected by the change in rate tables.
