Exam Sites for the July 29 & 30,  2009 Tennessee Bar Examination

Nashville

Nashville School of Law 4013 Armory Oaks Dr. near 100 Oaks Mall and behind Rafferty's Restaurant. There are hotels approximately 1.6 miles from the school @I-65 South and Harding Place. For lunch you are on your own. There are four restaurants in the area off of the same exit from I-65. No applicant will be permitted to remain in the testing rooms during the lunch break so plan accordingly.

The Board of Law Examiners does not reserve rooms nor does it provide special rates at any of the hotels.

There is considerable parking at the law school. Please respect those spaces at the law school reserved for the staff and Dean.

Every approved applicant will receive a letter with this same information approximately two weeks before the exam.

Knoxville

University of Tennessee Law School 1505 W. Cumberland Ave., First Floor. Parking is available in the University Center Garage.
Directions - from I-40 or I-75 take the 17th Street exit to Cumberland Ave.

Memphis

University of Memphis Law School - Rooms 248, 250 and 252 of the Law Building. You may park in the parking garage located behind the law school at the corner of Innovation Dr. for $1.00/hour or $6.00 non-student daily rate ($4.00 student daily rate). You may also park in lot #44 across the street from the Law school on Central Ave., with a temporary permit/hangtag which must be purchased at the Information Center located at the corner of Patterson and Central Ave., (one block west of the law school) or purchased at the University Parking Office, 3918 Central Ave., (two blocks east of the law school). For further information on parking you may call the parking office 901-678-2212 Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:00 am-6:00pm. NOTE: park in the wrong place or without a permit and you will receive a ticket.

There are a variety of hotels on Crossover lane, about 2 miles from campus.
