Description

This 24-hour program is designed to provide the criminal investigator with the attitude, knowledge and skills to effectively interview victims, witnesses and suspects, and use this information to effectively formulate an interrogation of the guilty party.  The following topics will be covered:

  • Miranda, Involuntary Confessions, Coercion, and Admissibility of Statements
  • Rapport Building
  • Verbal Indicators of Deception
  • Non-Verbal Indicators of Stress
  • Interview Techniques
  • Documentation of Interviews/Interrogations
  • Statement Analysis (Introduction)
  • Interrogation Techniques
