TN Air National Guard Airman Saves Man from Burning Home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - An Airman with the Tennessee Air National Guard’s 134th Air Refueling Wing in Knoxville, Tenn., rescued a 57-year-old man from a burning home Jan. 20 in Carter County, Tenn.

A Day of Recognition - Tennessee National Guard Day

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee National Guard has been an integral part of the defense and security of the state and nation for 246 years.  To honor the sacrifice of all the Soldiers and Airmen that serve the Tennessee Guard, the Tennessee State Legislature declared March 3 as Tennessee National Guard Day.
