NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Members of the 45th Civil Support Team, Tennessee National Guard will undergo an external evaluation beginning this morning, May 10, 2016 and culminating late in the evening on Thursday, May 12, 2016. It is designed to test their ability to respond to a chemical, biological, or radiological threat. The Chattanooga Fire Department will also be on hand along with the evaluators from United States Army North.

The 45th CST is a 22 person team comprised of Army and Air personnel from the Tennessee National Guard. They work primarily with county emergency management agencies, the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency, or TEMA, Fire and Police Departments, and the Department of Homeland Security.
