BENTON COUNTY, I-40 Truck Climbing Lane
Wednesday, October 18 through Wednesday, October 25: Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway in a construction zone. *Speed limit is reduced to 60 MPH.

BENTON COUNTY, SR-191: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from I-40 to McCauley’s Bluff Road.

CROCKETT COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Madison County Line to west of the SR 76 overpass.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-114: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the end of the Tennessee River Bridge to SR-69.

DECATUR/HARDIN COUNTY, SR-114: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR-128 to the Tennessee River Bridge. Motorists should watch for flagmen.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 3/SR 211, overhead, to SR 77 ramp. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-20: Repair of bridges over North Fork Forked Deer River.
Restrictions: Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 12’ lane restriction.
*Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-77: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 3 (US-51) to the Gibson County line. Watch for flagmen.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40: The grading, drainage, construction of a concrete bulb-tee bridge and paving on I-40 at the SR 196 (Hickory Withe Road) interchange. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

Friday, October 20, 8:00 p. m. through Monday, October 23, 6:00 a. m.: There will be inside lane closures on I-40 Eastbound and Westbound from MM 28.0 to MM 30.0 for the installation of median drainage, the re-movement of portable barrier rail, inside shoulder widening, and the construction of median crossovers.

Monday, October 23, through Friday, October 27, 8:00 p. m. -6:00 a. m: There will be inside lane closures on I-40 Eastbound and Westbound from MM 28 to MM 30 for the installation of median drainage, the re-movement of portable barrier rail, inside shoulder widening, and the construction of median crossovers.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-222: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 59 to Hebron Drive. Motorist should watch for flagmen.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-57: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Fayette County line to Saulsbury Road. Motorist should watch for flagmen.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-100: A bridge repair project on SR 100 at LM 4.43, which is approximately 2.7 miles east of the SR 100/US 64 intersection in Whiteville, TN, will result in a lane closures.
Restrictions: Beginning Monday, October 23, 2017 a signal system will be utilized. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on SR 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-114: A bridge repair project on the Clifton Bridge over the Tennessee River will result in lane shifts and narrowed lanes throughout the project.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-114: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 128 to the Tennessee River Bridge. Motorists should watch for flagmen.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on SR 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR 15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on SR 128 from south of One Stop Drive (LM 8.86) to south of Opel Loop (LM 10.42). Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, I-40: Thursday, October 19, then Wednesday, October, 25 & Thursday, October 26, 8:00 a. m.-6:00 p. m.: There will be a temporary lane closure on I-40 eastbound from MM 61 to 64 outside lane and shoulder for testing. One lane will remain open.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-19 (Brownsville Bypass): A widening project on SR 19 from west of Windrow Road to SR 76 south of Brownsville will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-76: Construction of a concrete bulb tee beam bridge over the Hatchie River–Wednesday, May 3, 2017 SR 76 will CLOSE at log mile 8.98 (approx. 1 mile south of the I-40/Exit 56 interchange) for removal of the truss bridge. *Local traffic will have access up to the bridge. An interstate detour will be posted at Exit 56 and Exit 52 (Stanton/KoKo Road).

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-114: Resurfacing work, including bridge repair work, will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 201 to US 412 (SR 20).

HENRY COUNTY, SR-54: The grading, drainage, construction of bridges, retaining wall and paving on SR 54 from near Rison Street to near Smith Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-78: Construction of a concrete Bulb-Tee bridge on SR 78 over drainage ditch including grading, drainage, and paving will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.​
Restrictions: Beginning Tuesday, August 1 through November 30, 2018, a traffic signal system is being utilized. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction with a 9’ lane restriction.

Lauderdale County, SR-19 Beginning Monday, October 9: A bridge repair project on SR 19 over Hyde Creek will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily.

MADISON COUNTY Soil Borings
Monday, October 16 through Friday, October 20, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be possible lane/shoulder closures on I-40 westbound between MM 83 and 84 for soil borings.

Monday, October 23 through Friday, October 27, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be possible lane/shoulder closures on I-40 eastbound between MM 84 and 83  for soil borings.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-20 (US 412): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Crockett County Line to near I-40 ramps.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-138: Construction of 2 concrete box bridges on SR 138 over Muddy Creek will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.
Restrictions: Beginning Tuesday, May 30 through Tuesday, October 31 a signal system will be utilized. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with an 11’ lane restriction. Sanderson Road will be closed to through traffic.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-186 (US45 Bypass) and I-40: Interchange improvements on SR-186 (US 45) north and southbound from the I-40 ramps to Old Hickory Blvd  for paving and construction of retaining walls and widening of I-40 from just east of Exit 79 to just east of Exit 82.

Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. – Work will begin in the southbound lanes of the US 45 By-Pass by closing one inside lane, with two lanes remaining open. This work is to permanently close the turning lane and U-turn between Carriage House Drive and Old Hickory Boulevard. Crews will then move and close the two outside northbound lanes between Old Hickory Boulevard and Carriage House Drive, one lane will remain open. This closure will result in a long term closure with two northbound lanes remaining open.

Detour signs will be posted throughout the construction area.

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-5: Resurfacing work will cause possible lane closures, in both directions daily, from SR 15 to near New Salem Road.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69: Grading, drainage, construction of eight bridges on future I-69 from south of US 51 (SR 3) to south of US 45W (SR 5) will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. *Speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH through the US 51 (SR 3) portion of the project. The inside southbound lane on SR 3 is closed to all traffic for installation of barrier rail.

Restrictions: Beginning Tuesday, June 13, SR 3 will have a lane shift in the north and southbound directions. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 11’ 6” lane restriction.

OBION COUNTY, SR-21: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 21 to SR 183. Watch for flagmen.

OBION COUNTY, SR-21: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 5 (US 45W) to SR 3 (US 51).

OBION COUNTY, SR-184: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 431 to SR 214.

OBION COUNTY, SR-214: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR 21 to SR 184.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, October 18 through Wednesday, October 25: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH. Beginning December 5, 2014, there are transitions south and northbound on Canada Road.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Exit 1 to Exit 1A
Wednesday, October 18 through Wednesday, October 25: There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Washout Repair
Monday, October 16 through Friday, October 20, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: The outside “On” ramp lane at Exit 8 from Jackson Avenue to I-40 westbound will be CLOSED to allow for washout repair.  Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Construction of a welded steel plate girder bridge on SR 1 over the Loosahatchie River will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1 from near Wolf River to Stage Road:
Sunday, October 22 through Friday, October 27, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on SR 1 east and westbound (MM 12 to MM 16) to allow for resurfacing. Weather Permitting.

LOOK AHEAD:
Sunday, October 29 through Friday, November 3, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.:
There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on SR 1 east and westbound (MM 12 to MM 16) to allow for resurfacing. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on SR 14 for a widening project from SR 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project.
On April 21, 2017, Old Covington Pike East access to/from SR 14 was permanently CLOSED.
*Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175–Resurfacing on SR 175 from near Elvis Presley Blvd to Swinnea
Sunday, October 22 through Thursday, October 26, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m: There will be INTERMITTENT closures with one lane to remain open on SR 175 east and westbound to allow for resurfacing. Weather Permitting.

Thursday, October 19, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: INTERMITTENT outside lane closures on SR 385 westbound at MM 5.0 (Winchester Rd.) through MM 0.0 (SR 240) to allow for pothole repair.  * Friday, October 20, 9AM-3PM will serve as a backup date. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385 Drain Cleaning
Thursday, October 19, and Friday, October 20, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m: The outside lane will be CLOSED on SR 385 eastbound at MM 3.16 (Riverdale Rd.) through MM 5.12 (Winchester Rd.) to allow for drain cleaning.  Weather Permitting.

TDOT REGION 4: On-Call Pavement Markings:
Wednesday, October 18 through Wednesday, October 25: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday, October 18 through Wednesday, October 25, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to repair pavement on an as needed basis.

TDOT District 47 & 48 On-Call Guardrail/Concrete Barrier
Wednesday, October 18 through Wednesday, October 25: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT District 49 On-Call Guardrail/Concrete Barrier
Wednesday, October 18 through Tuesday, October 24, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. Also, there will be day time lane closures on Wednesday, October 18, 9AM–3PM. If weather prohibits, the repairs will be performed on the next available night for night work and on the next available day for day work. THP will assist with traffic control during night time closures. Weather Permitting. 

Wednesday, October 18 through Tuesday, October 24, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:

  • SR-3 north and southbound, MM 16.2 – MM 21.0, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED.
  • I-240 eastbound, MM 23.2 – MM 21.8, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED.
  • I-240 eastbound EXIT 20B at Getwell (SR 176 northbound); Ramp will be narrowed.
  • SR-176 north and southbound, MM 5.8 – MM 6.0, various locations; One lane will be CLOSED.

Wednesday, October 18, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m:

  • I-40 westbound “On” ramp at EXIT 35 (SR 59); Ramp will be narrowed.

TIPTON COUNTY, SR-179: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures, in both directions daily, from SR 54 to SR 14.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-43 (US 45E): Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures, in both directions daily, from the Gibson County line to Old US 45E.
