Notice of October 2013 Tennessee Board of Examiners for Land Surveyors Rulemaking Hearing
Pursuant to Tenn. Code. Ann. § 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notification by e-mail of certain changes or potential changes to the law applicable to your profession. The Tennessee Board of Examiners for Land Surveyors is convening a rulemaking hearing at its regularly scheduled meeting on October 24th, 2013 in Conference Room 1-B of the Davy Crockett Tower, 500 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, Tennessee 37243, at 9:00 AM, CST. A copy of the proposed rule changes is available for review on the website of the Secretary of State at http://state.tn.us/sos/rules_filings/08-04-13.pdf. The proposed rule changes to be considered at the rulemaking hearing include revisions of the rules of professional conduct in order to further detail the grounds for discipline and the expected behavior of a licensee when providing professional services to the public.
In compliance with the Tennessee Open Meetings Act, compiled at Tenn. Code Ann. § 8-44-101 et seq., the above-referenced rulemaking hearing is open to the public, and you may either attend the rulemaking hearing in person to offer comments or you may submit written comments which will be considered by the Board at the time of the rulemaking hearing.
