The Motor Carrier Section is a one-stop shop for commercial vehicles providing base-state vehicle registration and titling, (International Registration Plan), quarterly fuel tax reporting (International Fuel Tax Agreement) and proof of insurance requirements (Single State Registration System and Intrastate Authority). The Disbursements Unit balances and disburses fees and taxes collected from registrations and audits on a monthly basis to member jurisdictions for all the tax classes. This unit also receipts vouchers received from member jurisdictions and enters this information into the ACS system.
