Free Webinar October 28 on How to File the Franchise and Excise Tax Return

NASHVILLE – The Department of Revenue will host a free webinar on how to file the franchise and excise tax return on October 28 at 9 a.m. Central time.

During this webinar, our staff will discuss various aspects of filing the franchise and excise tax return, including deadlines, estimated payments, extensions, minimum filing requirements, and an overview of the different schedules.

The Department of Revenue is responsible for administering state tax laws and motor vehicle title and registration laws, as well as collecting taxes and fees associated with those laws. The department collects about 87 percent of the total state revenue.
