Lebanon Driver License Station to Close for Renovation

Nashville, Tennessee --- The Tennessee Department of Safety’s Driver License Station located at 725 Elkins Drive will close Thursday, December 6, 2007 at noon for renovations. Drivers needing assistance that day can visit our full-service stations located at 6604 Centennial Boulevard and 624 Hart Lane. The express station located at 1601 Murfreesboro Road will also be open for business.
The Lebanon Driver License Station will reopen on Monday, December 10, 2007.
The Tennessee Department of Safety's mission is (www.tennessee.gov/safety) to ensure the safety and general welfare of the public. The department encompasses the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Office of Homeland Security and Driver License Services. General areas of responsibility include law enforcement, safety education, motorist services and terrorism prevention.
