Nashville, Tennessee --- The Tennessee Department of Safety (TDOS) and the Mid-South Transplant Foundation will “team up for life” and host a Donor Designation Booth at the Driver License Center located at 6340 Summer Avenue in Memphis. Mid-South Transplant Foundation will launch the Donate Life Tennessee Organ and Tissue Donor Registry in Memphis and Shelby County. Representatives and driver license examiners will be on hand to register residents and answer questions on how they can become an organ and tissue donor.

April is National Donate Life Month. Currently, there are 2,000 Tennesseans and nearly 98,000 people nationwide who are on the waiting list for a life-saving transplant. Tennesseans can register to be an organ donor by simply checking YES on the application when applying for or renewing a driver license.
