The Tennessee Ethics Commission was therefore established by the general assembly to sustain the public's confidence in government by increasing government's integrity and transparency through the regulation of lobbying activities, financial disclosure requirements, and ethical conduct.

REQUIREMENT FOR 2008.
Pursuant to T.C.A. §3-6-114(b), lobbyists are required to attend one ethics course annually. The last "live" lobbyist training session will take place on November 6th at 10 a.m. in Room 29 at the Legislative Plaza in Nashville. Please register by clicking the link below. This is the last opportunity for "live" training in 2008. For those lobbyists who cannot attend or prefer to do so, the training requirement may be met by registering, paying the training fee, watching the archived lobbyist training video, and completing the verification of training form.
