Steve is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management and Insurance.  He has over 34 years of law enforcement experience including his last 25+ years as an FBI Special Agent.  Steve’s investigative experience has encompassed Counterterrorism, Violent Crime, Organized Crime, Complex Financial Crimes, Public Corruption and Civil Rights matters.  He participated in the FBI’s Evidence Response Team program for the majority of his career and taught crime scene management internationally and domestically for the FBI.  He most recently served as a counselor for the 288th Session of the FBI’s National Academy in 2023 before retiring from the FBI and joining the Sports Wagering Council.
