WIA Annual Performance Reports

Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development

James Neeley, Commissioner

The Tennessee Higher Education Commission is responsible for compiling Annual Performance Reports for the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) in order to determine subsequent eligibility to Statewide List of Eligible Training Providers. The Annual Performance Reports include completion and placement rates for any WIA certified training program that serviced a minimum of one WIA student during the fiscal year. Completion and placement rates are presented for both the WIA and ALL of student populations. In addition to the program completion and placement rates, the report supplies statewide and area specific performance analysis to assess the effectiveness of WIA across the state and across Local Workforce Investment Areas. As such, the report findings serve to assist state and local WIA officials in the effective utilization of WIA funds, as well as to assist WIA qualifiers in making informed customer choices concerning their training options.
