Stakeholder Meetings

Back

The business development teams in TNECD's nine regions meet with community stakeholders in their region to discuss economic preparedness activities and business development projects. With the objective of creating high quality job opportunities for Tennesseans, the business development teams maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and meet frequently to discuss business development opportunities and/or challenges a community may face. Stakeholders often include mayors, chambers of commerce, Industrial Development Boards (IDBs) and Joint Economic and Community Development Boards (JECDBs).

Key Performance Indicator: Every month, each regional business development office will meet with 20 stakeholders, to total 2,160 stakeholder meetings in 2017 across all regions.
