Jason Shapton Receives NWTF State Officer of the Year Honor

Robertson County wildlife officer Jason Shapton has received the honor of being named the State of Tennessee’s National Wild Turkey Federation Wildlife Officer of the Year award for the State of Tennessee. Jason represented Tennessee at the 2024 NWTF Convention held at Opryland Convention Center and Resort. 

This award goes to an officer who has excelled and demonstrated exceptional performance in teamwork and innovation, attitude, and leadership and their work accomplishments. Officer Shapton not only dedicates his time to enforcement but also to educating the public about our State’s natural resources as well as introducing youth to new outdoors adventures. Officer Shapton recently revitalized the Robertson County Youth Dove Hunt where he setup a successful dove hunt.
