Bonny Oaks Drive (State Route 317)

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) plans to construct improvements to Bonny Oaks Drive (State Route 317) in Hamilton County. The proposed project, which stretches along nearly a mile of Bonny Oaks Drive, from Adamson Circle to near Hickory Valley Drive, will widen the current two-lane road to five lanes, including two travel lanes in each direction and a center turn lane. Additionally, the project will include sidewalks along the project footprint.

Current Status: This project is under development.

Estimated construction start: This project is scheduled in TDOT’s 10-Year Project Plan to begin construction in Fiscal Year 2029.

Estimated completion*: TBD

Funding Type: TDOT anticipates that this project will be funded in part through the Transportation Modernization Fund.
